Antigone, semestrale di critica del sistema penale e penitenziario, è la rivista promossa dall'associazione Antigone. Ha un precedente illustre (l'omonimo bimestrale di critica dell'emergenza nel diritto penale promosso alla metà degli anni Ottanta da personalità come Massimo Cacciari, Luigi Ferrajoli, Luigi Manconi, Mauro Palma, Stefano Rodotà e Rossana Rossanda), e un contesto culturale e scientifico di riferimento, individuabile nella tradizione della filosofia, della sociologia del diritto e della criminologia critica italiana.

La rivista si propone come luogo di approfondimento delle tematiche di interesse dell'associazione e di diffusione degli studi e delle ricerche su tali tematiche anche in una prospettiva di comparazione internazionale. A una parte monografica, dedicata a temi individuati dalla redazione e allestita anche attraverso specifiche call for papers, segue un'articolazione in sezioni dedicate agli aggiornamenti normativi, alla recensioni di libri, dei prison movies e, in genere, alla produzione artistica riguardante il sistema penale e penitenziario.
