FONDAZIONE HAIKU LUGANO/FONDAZIONE CHARLEMAGNE
Fondazione Haiku Lugano was born in 2014 in Lugano and uses Fondazione Charlemagne's competences and expertise for its funding choices. Fondazione Charlemagne and its Technical Office of Evaluation are based in Rome. Both foundations are no-profit and pursue charitable purposes exclusively. In particular, Fondazione Haiku promotes and supports initiatives and social awareness programs which deal with the problems of poverty, marginalization and fundamental human rights.
OTTO PER MILLE OF THE WALDESIAN CHURCH
Since 1993 the Waldensian and Methodist Churches avail themselves of the law granting access to the funds 8xmille of tax allowances on income subject to IRPEF tax. This law only apply for churches that signed an agreement with the Italian State. In particular, the Waldensian Church uses the funds raised to finance either social and cultural projects in Italy or cooperation projects in developing countries, promoting peace, development, education, information and solidarity.
